Agricultural Education

Graduates are in high demand as teachers of agriculture and the related sciences in the nation's schools. A shortage of teachers of agriculture has existed for several decades. As programs continue to expand and new programs are added, this trend will continue. Learn more

Agricultural Communications

This program is designed to produce graduates with strong interpersonal and public communications skills combined with technical knowledge about the food and fiber industry. Agricultural communication students develop skills necessary to communicate effectively with producers, consumers and policy makers about topics and issues related to agriculture. Learn more

Agricultural Systems Technology Management

This program prepares individuals for technical careers in agricultural industries and businesses, production agriculture and allied organizations. The program prepares students as problem solvers in the application, management and marketing of agricultural technology. Learn more

Minors

Internships

Every student coming through the AECT program must complete at least three internship credit hours. Internships provide students with opportunities to apply what they are learning and to network with potential employers and professionals in their area of interest. Learn more

Study Abroad

The Global Studies Program includes internships, semester or year abroad study and faculty-led study tours tailored to students’ individual needs and interests. Learn more
